MSG08

The MSG08 spiral wound gasket machine is a manual machine and as such it is the most suitable for last minute gaskets and low-batch volumes. Although manual, it has in any case all features of the semi- automatic machines. This machine in fact is endowed with devices to keep constant the strength applied on the gasket and to control the steel tension during the winding so that the desired compactness is achieved. Of course such machine depends on the ability and experience of the operator, but it is also true that the operator is helped in his work by devices at his disposal that come with the basic machine, that can help him obtain quality gaskets such as a display that gives him the value of the gasket dimension in progress, so that he can stop at the desired dimension achieved. The operator can also decide the winding speed and can set the welding programs. The advantage of such machine is also that it is able to cover a high dimensional range of gaskets and that the investment needed is relatively low.

Click to zoom the imageWith the same dimensional range of the MSG08, and not having to spend a fortune, we have available the MSG07 machine. This is the machine that we recommend our customers if they are looking for a highly flexible machine and the batch volumes achieved are quite high. It is considered an automatic machine since the intervention of the operator is only in feeding and cutting while all other process such as the winding, welding and ejecting process is achieved automatically and governed by PLC program. The welder is electronically controlled, which allows the setting out of the welding parameters and allows to store 8 different welding programs.

Click to zoom the imageIf you need to produce gaskets of big dimensions then you should focus on the MSG03 model. This machine is the only one among our spiral wound gasket machines to work the gasket in a horizontal position due to the dimensions that can be quite big. As the MSG07 machine it has all features of a semiautomatic machine but also the flexibility of the manual one since gaskets of big dimensions need more than others the possibility to be given to the operator to choose the right programs to be used. Peculiarity of this machine is that, although GSKET grants the machine till a dimension of 4 meters, in reality there is practically no limit to the dimension and also shape of the gasket.

Click to zoom the imageThe fully automatic machine is the most suitable for high-batch volumes and for small gasket dimensions.
With these machines, not only is the winding, welding and ejecting process automatically achieved, but also the feeding and cutting. The intervention of the operator is practically needed only to replace the raw material that is finished. Of course this machine cannot cover the high dimensional range of the MSG07 machine model, but if you produce big quantities of small gaskets this is definitely the machine you need.
All the parameters related to the gasket manufacturing can be set such as the tension of the steel strip and the pressure applied to compact the gasket and fully programmable such as the winding speed, the number, position and power of the welding spots, the starting and ending point of the graphite and steel, the number of revolutions and the diameters of the finished product.
